It was worth its 3 stars. It had a lovely bed and pillows.
In a hotel like this - stain is unacceptable.
It was a pleasant experience overall. The room is reasonably priced. The hotel is located in the shopping zone.
I statyed in room 308 this is near to the extrator fan system for the kitchens which was noisy when in use. But with the windows closed it was not to bad but in the hight of summer with good weather and having the windows open I can see that it would disrupt a persons sleep when activated in the mornig wghich on my stay was arround 6am. People should be warned about this when checking in.
The carpets away from the public areas were not very clean and well worn in some areas especially on the stairs . In my opinion thios was a let down and needs to be addressed especially the cleanliness aspect, a good hivering on a daily basis would proably solve the issue.
The Room was large and had a wonderful sea view. The staff were very helpful, especially Vicky, when our flight had been cancelled due to ash, updating us on the latest news regarding our flight. Breakfast was nice.
Very friendly staff, polite, well turned out but not too formal. Lovely big room, with excellent view.
Rather dominated by coach parties.
The location is excellent service was ok & the night porter was really friendly & helpful.
The really loud rock music from the bar downstairs
The staff were really polite and accomodating and couldn't do enough for you. The best staff ive come across in a long time!
The net curtains in the room were filthy and old so if they renewed them there would be nothing negative to say at all.
A pleasant stay, albeit very brief. Warm welcome and lovely, helpful staff. Would recommend.
fairly laid back, relaxed staff, polite and try to be helpfull...kate is a star!!
the last two visits i have had rooms with either no view or very little ie brick wall or scaffolding, or were there is a desk present not been able to use this as it has been positioned in such a way were other furniture make it impossible to use.
Katie was brilliant facilitated booking throughout Volcano nightmare. She was a star receptionist too Breakfasts good staff not easily overwhelmed. Overall good value hotel good hot water volumn.
Don't like being near late night bars BUT what can you do. I O M far from the worst yet!!
Nice friendly staff, comfortable room. The food at breakfast was well cooked and good quality. The view from the dinning room was ecellent
Room was bigger than other hotels in Isle of Man.
Rooms are not sound proof. So the noise from Bar or the room above or the opposite room was bit disturbing
It was a comfortable room with good breakfast and close to ferry port.
Very scruffy hotel , room had bad smell
i liked it because i could walk from the isle of man steam package to the hotel, it is right on the sea front, close to the shops. the trains and tams it was a oerfect location for a holiday.the food ans satff were all great
our room was by the central heating pipe it was a little noisy with the window open
